Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and cleared Ethical Hacker/Cyber HuntSpecialist to join our elite cybersecurity team. This role is crucial for proactively identifying vulnerabilities and threats within our government clients' networks, using advanced ethical hacking techniques and cyber hunt methodologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will conduct authorized penetration testing on network systems to identify and report vulnerabilities.
  • You will develop and execute cyber hunt strategies to detect and counter advanced persistent threats (APTs).
  • You will collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enhance defensive mechanisms and incident response capabilities.
  • You will analyze and interpret network traffic and system logs for unusual or suspicious activity.
  • You will provide recommendations for security enhancements and mitigations.
  • You will develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of activities and findings.
  • You will stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and techniques.
       
       

Qualifications:

  • Unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. In some instances, a degree can be waived in lieu of functional relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ethical hacking, cyber hunting, or similar roles preferred.
  • Proficient with penetration testing tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Certification in CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), or similar.
  • High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure.

 

Clearance Requirements:

  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency may be a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance preferred.
