Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. This role is critical for developing and maintaining a strategic framework for data storage, retrieval, and data flow within our projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at designing, creating, deploying, and managing our client's data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve client data.
  • You will examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
  • You will assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
  • You will install and organize information systems to guarantee client mission functionality.
  • You will prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
  • You will oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
  • You will monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
  • You will recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
  • You will educate staff members through training and individual support.

 

Qualifications:

  • Unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. In some instances, a degree can be waived in lieu of functional relevant experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • In-depth understanding of database structure principles and data administration.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements.
  • Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, D3.js, and R).
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Outstanding problem solver.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or US permanent residency may be a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
