Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Forensic Investigator/Examiner to join our dedicated team. This critical role involves conducting complex forensic investigations, analyzing digital evidence, and providing expert testimony to support the resolution of cybercrime and security breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will conduct digital forensic examinations including collection, preservation, analysis, and presentation of digital evidence.
  • You will utilize forensic tools and investigative methods to find specific electronic data, including internet use history, word processing documents, images, and other files.
  • You will provide expert analysis and reporting of data findings clearly and concisely.
  • You will assist in the development of forensic policies and procedures.
  • You will collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate future risks.
  • You will keep abreast of the latest digital forensic technologies and methodologies.
       
       

Qualifications:

  • Unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, forensic science, criminal justice, or a related field. In some instances, a degree can be waived in lieu of functional relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital forensics, preferably in a government contracting environment preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of forensic principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Familiarity with handling and analyzing various operating systems, mobile devices, and network structures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), or similar.
  • High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency may be a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Top Secret/SCI preferred.
